In order to increase the number of well-equipped believers, many churches in different regions have expressed their willingness to provide their church sites as satellite classrooms to train students. In addition to the seminary’s main campus, there are now eight different locations/regions available for classes, including Mandarin Baptist Church of Los Angeles (in Alhambra), Mandarin Baptist Church of San Fernando Valley (in Northridge), Rowland Heights Community Christian Church, Arcadia Chinese Baptist Church, Covina First Southern Baptist Church, Chinese Baptist Church of Orange County (in Anaheim), Grace Chinese Baptist Church (in New York), in Northern California, in South Late City, and in Dallas.
The TTS library presently contains over 20,000 volumes of books, which include both Chinese and English titles, in addition to various multi-media resources. The TTS library uses the Library of Congress system for cataloging and classifying its books. Shelving references materials and other books are therefore easily accessible, as students can look up periodicals and research papers via the Internet. TTS has budgeted for continued expansion of literature and space, as it continues to develop its program.
The Maurice J. Anderson Graduate Student Center
The Center, named in honor of Dr. Maurice J. Anderson, houses the graduate lounge/classroom and Dr. Anderson’s archives.
In the Spring Semester of 2019, TTS began Live e-Learning at Chinese Baptist Church of Orange County, and then in June of 2019, the renovation of classroom 205 on the seminary campus was completed, so that students from far away regions, outside the state and abroad can attend classes simultaneously with students on the seminary campus.
In addition to the library and Graduate Student Center, TTS has administrative offices, a chapel, a kitchen, and a conference room. Classrooms are equipped with audio-visual equipment, learning materials and teaching resources. Every classroom has a piano that can be used for practice by arrangement with the seminary office. There are many restaurants and fast food outlets within walking distance or a short drive from the seminary. Arcadia Public Library and a fitness center are within walking distance.
Currently, TTS has no housing facilities; however, if there are students from out of states or out of country, TTS will be responsible for helping or assisting students in finding accommodation arrangements.
