HOW MUCH DOES ADVANCE COST STUDENTS?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADVANCE centers may charge tuition rates based on their own operating costs.  However, there is a base fee of $30 per credit hour to be sent to Gateway per student per class (called the \u201cGateway Support Fee\u201d), and a cap of $100 per credit hour.  The average cost for a 3-credit hour ADVANCE class currently is $180.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Students also pay a $30 new student application fee when first applying, to be sent to Gateway with Gateway Support Fees.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Auditors pay the same amount per credit hour as regular students, but do not pay a new student application fee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certificate recipients pay nothing to receive a certificate once their course requirements are met and the appropriate paperwork is filed.\u00a0 Current graduation fees & late graduation application fees for diploma students, and transcript fees for all students, can be found here under \u201cOther Fees (non-refundable)\u201d.\u00a0 Graduate fees and late graduation application fees are to be sent to Gateway with Gateway Support Fees.\u00a0 Transcript fees are to be paid by the student directly to Parchment, Gateway\u2019s third-party transcript service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADVANCE \u5b78\u751f\u9700\u8981\u4ed8\u591a\u5c11\u8cbb\u7528\uff1f<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADVANCE \u57f9\u8a13\u4e2d\u5fc3\u6703\u6839\u64da\u81ea\u5df1\u7684\u904b\u71df\u6210\u672c\u6536\u53d6\u5b78\u8cbb\u3002 \u4f46\u662f\uff0c\u6bcf\u500b\u73ed\u7d1a\u7684\u6bcf\u4e00\u4f4d\u5b78\u751f. \u6bcf\u500b\u5b78\u5206\u6642\u9700\u8981\u5411 Gateway \u652f\u4ed8 30 \u7f8e\u5143\u7684\u57fa\u672c\u8cbb\u7528\uff08\u7a31\u70ba\u201cGateway \u7dad\u6301\u7d93\u8cbb\u201d\uff09\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u6bcf\u500b\u5b78\u5206\u7684\u6536\u53d6\u4e0a\u9650\u70ba 100 \u7f8e\u5143\u3002 \u76ee\u524d 3 \u5b78\u5206\u7684 ADVANCE \u8ab2\u7a0b\u7684\u5e73\u5747\u8cbb\u7528\u70ba 180 \u7f8e\u5143\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ARE ADVANCE STUDENTS GATEWAY STUDENTS?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADVANCE students receive Gateway Student ID #\u2019s, have their own ADVANCE student status at the Gateway library, and diploma and leadership diploma students are invited to participate in all commencement events. ADVANCE students also have official transcripts at the Seminary.  All ADVANCE certificates, diplomas and leadership diplomas have \u201cGateway Seminary\u201d prominently displayed, as well as the Gateway seal. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

They do not receive all of the same benefits as master\u2019s or doctoral level students at Gateway Seminary, particularly because they do not hold business accounts with or pay tuition directly to the Seminary, but they are still considered students of the Seminary.\u00a0 With this being said, ADVANCE students belong to individual centers that are meant to be their main point of contact and source of administrative, financial and educational support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADVANCE \u7684\u5b78\u751f\u662f GATEWAY \u7684\u5b78\u751f\u55ce\uff1f<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADVANCE \u5b78\u751f\u7372\u5f97 Gateway \u5b78\u751f ID#\uff0c \u53ef\u4ee5\u5728 Gateway \u5716\u66f8\u9928\u64c1\u6709\u500b\u4eba\u7684 ADVANCE \u5b78\u751f\u8eab\u4efd\uff0c\u6587\u6191\u548c\u9818\u5c0e\u6587\u6191\u5b78\u751f\u662f\u6703\u53d7\u9080\u53c3\u52a0\u6240\u6709\u7562\u696d\u5178\u79ae\u3002 ADVANCE \u5b78\u751f\u4e5f\u6709\u795e\u5b78\u9662\u7684\u6b63\u5f0f\u6210\u7e3e\u55ae\u3002 \u6240\u6709 ADVANCE \u8b49\u66f8\u3001\u6587\u6191\u548c\u9818\u5c0e\u6587\u6191\u90fd\u9192\u76ee\u5730\u5c55\u793a\u4e86\u201cGateway Seminary\u201d\u4ee5\u53ca Gateway \u5370\u7ae0\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u7136\u800c\u4ed6\u5011\u6c92\u6709\u7372\u5f97\u8207 Gateway Seminary \u7684\u78a9\u58eb\u6216\u535a\u58eb\u751f\u76f8\u540c\u7684\u6240\u6709\u798f\u5229\uff0c\u7279\u5225\u662f\u56e0\u70ba\u4ed6\u5011\u6c92\u6709\u5728\u795e\u5b78\u9662\u6301\u6709\u5b78\u751f\u8cec\u6236\u6216\u76f4\u63a5\u5411\u795e\u5b78\u9662\u652f\u4ed8\u5b78\u8cbb\uff0c\u4f46\u4ed6\u5011\u4ecd\u7136\u88ab\u8996\u70ba\u662f\u795e\u5b78\u9662\u7684\u5b78\u751f\u3002 \u8a71\u96d6\u5982\u6b64\uff0cADVANCE \u5b78\u751f\u5c6c\u65bc\u5404\u500b\u57f9\u8a13\u4e2d\u5fc3\uff0c\u9019\u4e9b\u4e2d\u5fc3\u662f\u4ed6\u5011\u7684\u4e3b\u8981\u806f\u7e6b\u9ede\uff0c\u4e5f\u662f\u884c\u653f\u3001\u8ca1\u52d9\u548c\u6559\u80b2\u652f\u6301\u7684\u4f86\u6e90\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAN STUDENTS TAKE CLASSES AT MULTIPLE ADVANCE CENTERS AT ONCE?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Yes.\u00a0 Some students attend multiple centers to take a fuller course-load.\u00a0 Such students will need to complete a Dual Enrollment Form and designate a \u201chome center\u201d to maintain a student file for them and help them with their program progress.\u00a0 Additional centers are not obligated to maintain a student file for \u201cvisiting\u201d students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u5b78\u751f\u53ef\u4ee5\u540c\u6642\u5728\u591a\u500b ADVANCE \u4e2d\u5fc3\u4e0a\u8ab2\u55ce\uff1f<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u53ef\u4ee5\u7684\u3002 \u4e00\u4e9b\u5b78\u751f\u53c3\u52a0\u591a\u500b\u4e2d\u5fc3\u4ee5\u5b8c\u6210\u66f4\u5168\u9762\u7684\u8ab2\u7a0b\u3002 \u6b64\u985e\u5b78\u751f\u9700\u8981\u586b\u5beb\u96d9\u91cd\u8a3b\u518a\u8868\u683c\u4e26\u6307\u5b9a\u4e00\u500b\u201c\u4e3b\u5c6c\u4e2d\u5fc3\u201d\u4f86\u70ba\u4ed6\u5011\u7ba1\u7406\u5b78\u751f\u6a94\u6848\u4e26\u5e6b\u52a9\u4ed6\u5011\u53d6\u5f97\u8a08\u5283\u9032\u5c55\u3002 \u5176\u4ed6\u4e2d\u5fc3\u6c92\u6709\u7fa9\u52d9\u70ba\u201c\u8a2a\u554f\u201d\u5b78\u751f\u7ba1\u7406\u5b78\u751f\u6a94\u6848\u3002<\/p>\n\n\n\n

CAN ADVANCE STUDENTS TRANSFER TO A MASTER’S PROGRAM?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gateway Seminary will consider applicants lacking an accredited undergraduate degree for admission to its basic master’s degrees. This pathway is called the Master’s By Exception.  A student must request admission under this provision in writing through the Office of Enrollment and may initiate this request only after all qualifying criteria have been met:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants must demonstrate their ability to do graduate-level work by entering the Seminary as a diploma student and by completing at least 15 hours of Gateway Seminary coursework required in the master\u2019s degree sought (at least 6 hours of introductory courses in New Testament, Old Testament, history, or theology) with a minimum GPA of 3.2. Electives, transfer credits and ADVANCE courses may not be used to satisfy this requirement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After completing the required 15 hours of coursework at the Gateway diploma level, students may then transfer up to 10 hours of qualifying ADVANCE credit into a Master’s degree.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADVANCE \u5b78\u751f\u53ef\u4ee5\u8f49\u8b80\u78a9\u58eb\u8ab2\u7a0b\u55ce\uff1f<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Gateway \u795e\u5b78\u9662 \u5c07\u8003\u616e\u7f3a\u4e4f\u8a8d\u53ef\u672c\u79d1\u5b78\u4f4d\u7684\u7533\u8acb\u4eba\u5165\u8b80\u5176\u57fa\u790e\u78a9\u58eb\u5b78\u4f4d\u3002 \u9019\u689d\u9014\u5f91\u88ab\u7a31\u70ba\u78a9\u58eb\u689d\u4ef6\u7684\u4f8b\u5916\u3002 \u5b78\u751f\u5fc5\u9700\u6839\u64da\u898f\u5b9a\u901a\u904e\u62db\u751f\u8fa6\u516c\u5ba4\u4ee5\u66f8\u9762\u5f62\u5f0f\u7533\u8acb\u5165\u5b78\uff0c\u4e26\u4e14\u53ea\u6709\u5728\u6eff\u8db3\u6240\u6709\u8cc7\u683c\u6a19\u51c6\u5f8c\u624d\u80fd\u63d0\u51fa\u6b64\u7533\u8acb\uff1a<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADVANCE programs offer three levels of education: 12-hr certificates, 24-hr diplomas and 48-hr leadership diplomas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Certificates focus on a specific area of ministry. Diplomas focus on a specific area of ministry, plus 12 hours of Christian studies (bible, theology & history). Leadership Diplomas focus on a specific area of ministry, plus 24 hours of Christian studies, and 12 hours of leadership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

ADVANCE offers ministry training in these areas: Biblical Languages, Children’s Ministry, Chaplaincy, Christian Studies, Church Education, Church Planting, Discipleship, Leadership, Missions, Music Ministry, Pastoral Ministries, Peer Counseling, Preaching, Teaching, Women’s Ministry & Youth Ministry.
